We stayed here over a 3 day weekend in-season. It is a wooded campground. Our site was large, but not very private. The mini-golf and peddle cart area would have been more enjoyable if it wouldn't have been for the flying insects. Take your bug spray. The swimming pools, and water slides were nice, as well as the game rooms, but the hours were a little short considering it was in-season. Not sure that we will stay here again. Nothing at the campground justified the high price.
We stayed here over a weekend before summer vacation started, with our 2 small children. We liked our site #B30, it was wooded and semi-private. Nice space between sites. The campground was a hit with our small children, they enjoyed the pool, paddle boats, mini-golf, and the 3 different playground areas. It was a bit of a walk from our site to the pool and play areas. The game room is small. The only negative over this weekend was that there were a lot of unattended, young children riding bikes around the campground. We would stay here again.
We stayed here to tour Harper's Ferry and enjoy the Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Festival. The park was very busy this weekend but our stay was a pleasant one. Nice pool, game room, playground, and movie theater for the family. The site we stayed in was a bit rough and not level, so bring plenty of leveling blocks. Has a nice store, and friendly staff. We will return again next year.
We stayed here on a trip to visit Idlewild Amusement Park. Easy in and out. You are surrounded by permanent seasonal trailers. The sites are tight. The bathrooms need some maintenance, paint, updated stalls, etc. The toilet was wobbly. The playground was nice for smaller children. The indoor pool was nice, though you have to walk thru the eating/dinning room to get to it. The outside pool is a nice size, but we didn't care for the music, it was a little loud. Might return, but will try someplace else next year.
This is a very clean campground. Friendly staff. It is located right next door to Dutch Wonderland, and very close to many great Outlet Shopping Centers. If you are worried about the Roller Coaster noise, ask to stay on the other side of the campground. We will stay again.
